How to Support Our Mission

Donating items for the comfort and enjoyment of our Service Dogs-in-training or veterans who come to take part in our program is a meaningful way to get involved.

Visa gift card donations also are always appreciated. They help our House Moms provide for our veterans’ specific needs and requests, and cover on-the-go meals when our K9s and Warriors are out training.

You may not be driving that old car, truck, boat, RV, or other motorized vehicles in your driveway, but it can help drive our mission. K9s For Warriors partners with Vehicles For Veterans to pick up your unwanted vehicle and sell it on behalf of our organization.

You can learn more and start the donation process by clicking here. Pickup is free, and you may qualify for a tax deduction. Vehicles For Veterans will provide the proper tax forms for you when the sale of your vehicle is completed.

If you have time to support K9s For Warriors’ mission, we have ample opportunities for you to help. Volunteers in our office help keep morale high and our administrative costs low. Our four-legged heroes and their trainers always can use help in our kennels, or you might be asked to volunteer at an event on behalf of K9s For Warriors.

Veterans spend most of our three-week program bonding with their Service Dog and with our Warrior trainers, but, we always are looking for ways to make their downtime special. We’ve held art classes and even had professional masseurs volunteer their time and resources. Handmade items that provide comfort for our Warrior/K9 Teams also are appreciated.
