Rescue dogs make our life-saving program possible. Your generosity provides these four-legged heroes with the veterinary care, equipment, and training they need to become a life-saving tool at no cost to Veterans.
Together we save the lives of Veterans & rescue dogs.
This year, K9s For Warriors is celebrating its pairing of 1,000 Warriors with life-saving Service Dogs. Each of our Service Dogs train for six to eight months before being paired with the Warrior. There’s A LOT of tender love and care as well as thousands of hours of collective expert training.
We simply can’t do it without donors like you who care deeply for our nation’s heroes and the four-legged friends who give them their lives back.
The making of a Service Dog:
- It costs approximately $75,000 to train each Service Dog
You can sponsor a Service Dog with contributions of $30,000, $40,000, or $50,000.
Together, we are saving lives at both ends of the leash.
