Capital Campaign FAQs

As K9s For Warriors grows to meet the increasing need for Service Dogs and Veteran support, we must invest in the facilities that make our mission possible. The Petersen Family Building is a crucial step in expanding our capacity to serve more Warriors, strengthen partnerships, and advance groundbreaking research.

This campaign provides the one-time investment needed to build the lasting infrastructure, ensuring K9s For Warriors can expand its reach and save more lives for years to come.

The building will house administrative offices, meeting and collaboration spaces, and dedicated work areas for our Research partners, Station Dog program, Procurement & Placement, Fostering, Puppy Raising, and Adoptions teams. By centralizing these essential program functions, the facility will improve coordination, increase operational capacity, and create opportunities to serve more Veterans and first responders with life-changing Service Dogs.

Encompassing approximately 4,700 square feet, the Petersen Family Building represents an investment in innovation, collaboration, and the people working every day to save lives. It will provide the infrastructure needed to strengthen partnerships, expand programs, and ensure more Warriors receive the support, hope, and healing they deserve.
