A Special Thank You to the Peterson Family
The Petersen Family’s initial donation to this capital campaign was the largest in K9’s history. Their investment transformed this project from a dream into reality.
Saving Lives at Both Ends of the Leash
Every day in the United States, approximately 20 Veterans take their own lives and over 1,000 dogs are euthanized. Determined to end Veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors is the nation’s leading nonprofit organization that provides trained Service Dogs to military Veterans nationwide suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and/or military sexual trauma — at no financial cost to the Veteran. To date, K9s has paired more than 1,350 life-changing Service Dogs with Veterans across all 50 states and rescued over 2,500 dogs.
