The evening will feature special opening performances by Cam Wheaton and Walker Montgomery, followed by a headline performance by multi-platinum country music star Chase Rice, along with inspiring moments of remembrance and recognition. 25 Years of Remembrance & Courage Since 9/11
More than a concert, Country for Courage is a celebration of service and healing. Proceeds from the event support K9s For Warriors’ mission to provide highly trained Service Dogs to Veterans suffering from invisible wounds of war, helping them regain independence, confidence, and hope. As we remember 25 years since 9/11, we honor the courage of our nation’s Veterans and celebrate the freedom they’ve found alongside their Service Dogs.
Country for Courage FAQs
Yes, all guests will have access to restrooms.
No need! We will have seating available.
Clear bags and small clutches/purses/wallets are allowed. Prohibited bags: large purses, coolers, back packs, briefcases, weapons of any kind, outside food and beverages, alcohol and illegal substances.
No parking pass is needed. When you arrive at the entrance of Sawgrass, let the gate attendant know you are going to an event at the TPC Clubhouse and proceed to the venue. There will be parking signs directing you to the parking lots located at TPC Clubhouse.
We Rescued the Dog. The Dog Rescues the Veteran.
Every day in the United States, approximately 20 Veterans take their own lives and over 1,000 dogs are euthanized. Determined to end Veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs — many of them rescues — to military Veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and/or military sexual trauma, at no financial cost to the Veteran. Since 2011, over 1,350+ Warriors have been paired with lifesaving Service Dogs and 2,500+ dogs have been rescued.
