Rescue dogs make our life-saving program possible. Your generosity provides these four-legged heroes with the veterinary care, equipment, and training they need to become a life-saving tool at no cost to Veterans.

This year, K9s For Warriors is celebrating its pairing of 1,000 Warriors with life-saving Service Dogs. Each of our Service Dogs train for six to eight months before being paired with the Warrior. There’s A LOT of tender love and care as well as thousands of hours of collective expert training.

We simply can’t do it without donors like you who care deeply for our nation’s heroes and the four-legged friends who give them their lives back.

The making of a Service Dog:

It costs approximately $75,000 to train each Service Dog
Since 2019, our dog sponsorship packages have been $25,000
Starting March 1, 2024, we are raising this to $30,000

This new pricing better reflects the cost of training a Service Dog, while still providing a value to our incredible supporters. New pricing will not impact any current sponsorships yet to be fulfilled.
