Baby Doge Partners with K9s For Warriors to Support the Newly Opened Mega Kennel

Baby Doge donates to K9s For Warriors

PONTE VEDRA, FLA. (September 6, 2022) Baby Doge, a mission-founded cryptocurrency with the goal to help save dogs, is excited to announce a new partnership with K9s For Warriors, the nation’s largest provider of trained Service Dogs to military veterans, to support K9s For Warriors’ mission to end veteran suicide. Baby Doge has donated $25,000 to name a kennel in the newly opened K9s For Warriors Davis Family Mega Kennel located in Ponte Vedra, Fla.

Roughly 20 veterans die by suicide every day; Baby Doge’s generosity will help K9s For Warriors save more lives and alleviate the financial burden of rescuing and training a Service Dog — which costs $25,000.

“Our work wouldn’t be possible without the support of our incredible partners,” said Rory Diamond, CEO of K9s For Warriors. “This partnership with Baby Doge allows us to pair more Warriors with highly trained Service Dogs.”

Founded in 2011, K9s For Warriors has rescued over 1,500 dogs across the country and paired more than 750 veterans with trained Service Dogs to mitigate symptoms of post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injuries and/or military sexual trauma. About K9s For Warriors

Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors is the nation’s largest provider of trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With most dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery. This treatment method is backed by scientific research (from Purdue University’s OHAIRE Lab) demonstrating Service Dogs’ ability to help mitigate their veteran’s symptoms of PTSD while simultaneously restoring their confidence and independence. Founded in 2011 as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, K9s For Warriors remains committed to bringing widespread awareness to veterans’ mental health and contributing to policy-level reform.

The organization’s three primary business operation facilities include: K9s For Warriors National Headquarters (Ponte Vedra, FL) Gold Family Campus (Alachua, FL) Petco Love K9 Center (San Antonio, Texas) and K9s For Warriors at Heidi’s Village (Phoenix, AZ).
