Quinton wanted his life back.
The Marine Corps Veteran served for eight years and felt like he lost a part of himself when he returned home. He wanted to love life again. He wanted something to look forward to.
Moly had her own struggles, too.

She was one of four dogs in an animal cruelty case. K9s For Warriors saw past her struggles and rescued her to train as a Service Dog for a Veteran in need.
Quinton had tried other forms of recovery after his service, but nothing stuck. He didn’t feel better long-term.
But hope was on the horizon. Quinton learned about K9s For Warriors and thought a Service Dog would be a good fit for him.
Love, Friendship & Lifelong Commitment.
That’s what Quinton and Moly found in each other.
“I’ve done so many things with K9s For Warriors that I hadn’t done in years,” Quinton said after being paired with Moly.
“Going out to crowded malls and shopping at grocery stores was nerve-wracking at first, but with Moly, I wasn’t worried about what was going on around me. To be able to do those things again made me feel like a new person.”
“I couldn’t be prouder of Moly,” said Jacob, Moly’s K9 Trainer. “Moly has taught me how to be a more patient dog trainer.”
Through the process of healing together, Quinton and Moly overcame their struggles. The two have been paired for nearly three years.

“Moly means everything to me,” Quinton said. “She’s given me my life back."
