Celebrating 100 Warrior Graduates from our Texas Ranch

July 31, 2025 – K9s For Warriors celebrated a remarkable milestone this summer. With the help of our generous donors, supporters and dedicated staff, the 100th Warrior from our Texas campus graduated with a life-changing Service Dog.

Tom is an Army Veteran who served for 15 years. As a medic, he was responsible for looking out for the health and welfare of fellow soldiers and civilians. His grandfather served as a medic in World War II, so Tom felt it was only right to follow in his footsteps. He loved getting the opportunity to serve his country and see the world.

Mental Health Awareness Month: On the Frontlines

It’s the job of first responders to jump into action when we need help, but who steps in for them? May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to shed light on those whose well-being is often neglected: people on the frontlines. For nearly five years, K9s For Warriors has been helping first responders get the support they need through a unique method: therapy dogs.

Hosted at Canyon Springs Gold Club in San Antonio, it was a great day to be together. You helped us make a difference in the lives of Veterans and rescue dogs.

May 2, 2025 – K9s For Warriors hosted its annual Salute To Moms event on Friday night, celebrating all the women who have left their mark on our organization and our women Warriors. The event took place at our Headquarters in Ponte Vedra, FL with a Kentucky Derby theme.
